SUSTAINABLE BUILDING ENGINEERING

I was trained by Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences to balance civil engineering, HVAC, and facilities management skills in a construction project. The understanding of building physics and energy use were also required for the study program. 

It can be foreseen that the main task in the future is not engineering design, but more towards building life cycle management for new low energy and passive buildings. Green buildings; therefore, play an important role in this building construction field.
